Through his Fall/Winter 2017 collection for Christian Dada, the Japanese designer Masanori Morikawa focused on the conflictual and frustrated state of youth.
Thus, the word “Heroin”, referencing to drugs, is embroidered on a red sweatshirt in a font echoing that of Coca-Cola’s logo. Morikawa mixed also the streetwear pieces with the sartorial, deconstructing iconic pieces of the man’s wardrobe, such as a leather jacket, blazer, puffer jacket and making them worn like a kimono.
