  Chanel J12 Marine

The standard bearer in the luxury watch from Chanel, the J12, founded in 2000 by Jacques Helleu, artistic director at the time of perfumes and watches of the brand, is now ten years later showed an iconic twenty-first century.
For its first version dive called "J12 Marine", the luxury house at Rue Cambon asked the American surfer Laird Hamilton to become his ambassador.

A true surf legend Laird Hamilton, nicknamed Jesus by his teammates because he always rides with his arms crossed giving so much a feeling of walking on water, remains quite unknown to the general French public. This ignorance is due to its eternal and categorical refusal to participate in the championships, unlike other living legends like Kelly Slater or Andy Irons, yet he is the inventor of several important techniques of surfing the "town-in" or "foilboard".
Passionate about the oceans, Laird Hamilton is actively involved in environmental protection and maritime nature, and this dual role of the man involved was the main reason that Chanel has chosen.
"I am honored and pleased to be the ambassador of the Chanel watch J12 Navy and to work with such a large house, whose history inspires respect.", said without hesitation, Laird Hamilton, at the announcement of this partnership. "This watch is a concentrate of authenticity. I tested it in the waves and I can assure you that it took the shock without any concern, I am excited about this partnership with Chanel and I'm ready for new waves J12 at Navy on my wrist."
Racy, the Navy Chanel J12 has all the qualities necessary for a top athlete or professional diver. It is water resistant to 300 meters and legible in the dark ocean. The J12 Marine also has a rubber strap with a matt opening dedicated to the evacuation of water, a unidirectional rotating steel bezel equipped with a disc in high-tech ceramics, needles, an index and a number 12 embossed luminescent.
On land, there is the Chanel J12 and seabed will reign J12 Navy.
