Winter is not always gloomy, not when you dare to put on white to exhilarate the self that can almost be buried in chill. White is the color that seems somewhat unorthodox for winter when for decades people cannot emphasize more on the color of black and grey as the basic element. Why so serious? We now urge the fashion-minded fellows to brave the progressive and add the next season some tasty delight. Not saying it’s the new bible to throw on whatever it’s pearly white but instead, heed the cutting and construction of the piece and you can stand out from the ordinary crowd by simultaneously adding more vibrant color to the pallet. Even though white is the color that is nothing to experiment on, but with different material and design, your white can add more to the depth and variety than what it may have been perceived.
A white shirt can be of a cliché, but pairing it with a slim tie, whether it’s multi-color, let’s say argyle or plaid makes you step up more than a bit; or better yet, the satin skinny black tie just exudes exhausted glamour. Putting on plaid trousers with a pair of oxford shoes and you go right back to the college, the old school feel will never be defeated in the season. Also, it’s the best time for you to show your fancy items that you’ve always considered “too much” when you try to mix it up with other items. A sheen polyester biker jacket gives a futuristic look; a stripy sweater or even a t-shirt with a rather childish drawing on can add an edge to your look. Finally, the double-breasted military-inspired pea coat, which is the “must have” item through these winters, might cover your body and prevent it from the cold but in the mean time it’s a silent juxtaposition with vogue. The only thing that you need to be careful of, when you are so utterly fearless, which we applaud, is that when you intend to try an all white look, you might as well use different fabrics to mix up the ensemble; heavy woolen intertwine cotton and polyester messes up your vision and endow you with a sense of sophistication, but not a lot of people can actually pull it off without the items made with sartorial fineness, so, be careful. Another simple way to achieve the extraordinary is simply to wrap yourself with a gigantic muffler swath and it can give the whole white look a soul. Nothing is actually too fancy to go with white but it actually goes complementary when you are least expected. Jacket LACOSTE, white shirt AGNES b., pants UNIQLO, shoes AGNES b.
